HEALTH TIPS ON DIFFERENT DISEASES & NATURAL REMEDIES

VENEREAL DISEASES, MEANING, TYPES, CAUSES, SYMPTOMS, NATURAL REMEDIES

VENEREAL DISEASES:

What is Venereal Disease?
Venereal disease is a disease that is contracted and transmitted by sexual contact, caused by microorganisms that survive on the skin or mucus membranes, or that are transmitted via semen, vaginal secretions, or blood during intercourse. The genital areas provide a moist, warm environment that is especially conducive to the proliferation of bacteria, viruses, and yeasts, so a great many diseases can be transmitted this way, including AIDS, chlamydia, genital warts, gonorrhea, syphilis, yeast infections, and some forms of hepatitis. Also known as a morbus venereus or sexually transmitted disease(STD).

What are the Types of Venereal Disease?

Here are key symptoms of the nine known leading kinds of sexually transmitted diseases:

HIV (AIDS) - Night sweats, unexplained weight loss, fatigue, headache, swollen lymph glands, vaginal yeast infections, whitish coating on the tongue and inside of mouth (thrush), diarrhea, lung infections.

HIV symptoms

HIV is an infection with the human immunodeficiency virus. HIV interferes with your body's ability to fight off viruses, bacteria and fungi that cause illness, and it can lead to AIDS, a chronic, life-threatening disease.
When first infected with HIV, you may have no symptoms. Some people develop a flu-like illness, usually two to six weeks after being infected. Still, the only way you know if you have HIV is to be tested.

Early signs and symptoms

Early HIV signs and symptoms may include:

  • Fever
  • Headache
  • Sore throat
  • Swollen lymph glands
  • Rash
  • Fatigue
These early signs and symptoms usually disappear within a week to a month and are often mistaken for those of another viral infection. During this period, you're highly infectious. More-persistent or -severe symptoms of HIV infection may not appear for 10 years or more after the initial infection.
As the virus continues to multiply and destroy immune cells, you may develop mild infections or chronic signs and symptoms such as:

  • Swollen lymph nodes — often one of the first signs of HIV infection
  • Diarrhea
  • Weight loss
  • Fever
  • Cough and shortness of breath

Late-stage HIV infection

Signs and symptoms of late-stage HIV infection include:

  • Persistent, unexplained fatigue
  • Soaking night sweats
  • Shaking chills or fever higher than 100.4 F (38 C) for several weeks
  • Swelling of lymph nodes for more than three months
  • Chronic diarrhea
  • Persistent headaches
  • Unusual, opportunistic infections

CHLAMYDIA - This disease is common in women, it causes burning sensation when urinating, itching, painful intercourse, white vaginal discharge.  In men it often causes watery urethral discharge.

Chlamydia symptoms

Chlamydia is a bacterial infection of your genital tract. Chlamydia may be difficult to detect because early-stage infections often cause few or no signs and symptoms. When they do occur, they usually start one to three weeks after you've been exposed to chlamydia. Even when signs and symptoms occur, they're often mild and passing, making them easy to overlook.
Signs and symptoms may include:
  • Painful urination
  • Lower abdominal pain
  • Vaginal discharge in women
  • Discharge from the penis in men
  • Pain during sexual intercourse in women
  • Bleeding between periods in women
  • Testicular pain in men

CANDIDIASIS - Both sexes have itching in genital area and pain when urinating.  Women:  Thick odorless vaginal discharge.

Candida Symptoms

Candida overgrowth can be difficult for a physician to diagnosis. This type of system yeast infection presents different ways, in different people. Below are nine of the candida symptoms to watch for if you are concerned you have candida, or candida overgrowth syndrome.
  • Impaired brain function.
  • Headache.
  • Fatigue.
  • Dizziness.
  • Intestinal distress including bloating, gas, constipation and nausea.
  • Sweating and fever.
  • Sinus infection.
  • Skin breakouts (not limited to face)
  • Mood Disorders
  • Oral Thrush

GENITAL HARPES - Itching, banning in the genital area, discomfort during urination. A watery vaginal or urethral discharge, weeping fluid-filled eruptions on penis or in vagina.

Genital Harpes Symptoms

Symptoms may not appear until months or sometimes years after you're exposed to the virus.
If you experience symptoms when first infected, they usually appear four to seven days after you have been exposed to the virus. The symptoms are usually more severe first time around than in cases of recurrent infections.
The symptoms of genital herpes for the first time include:
  • Small blisters that burst to leave red, open sores around your genitals, rectum (back passage), thighs and buttocks.
  • Blisters and ulcers on the cervix (lower part of the womb) in women.
  • Vaginal discharge in women.
  • Pain when you pass urine.

GENITAL WARTS - Soft, growth (like cauliflower) either singly or in clusters in and around the vagina, anus, grain, penis and/or septum.

Genital Warts Symptoms

Genital warts are transmitted through sexual activity. You may not begin to develop warts for several weeks after infection.
The warts are not always visible to the human eye. They may be very small and the color of the skin or slightly darker. The top of the growths may resemble a cauliflower and may feel smooth or slightly bumpy to the touch. An infected person may have a cluster of warts, or just one wart.
Genital warts on males may appear on the following areas:
  • penis
  • scrotum
  • groin
  • thighs
  • inside or around the anus
Genital warts in females may appear on the following area:
  • inside of the vagina or anus
  • outside of the vagina or anus
  • cervix
Genital warts may also appear on the lips, mouth, tongue, or throat of a person who has had oral sexual contact with an infected person.
Even if you cannot see genital warts, they may still cause symptoms, such as:
  • vaginal discharge
  • itching
  • bleeding
  • burning
If genital warts spread or become enlarged, the condition can be uncomfortable or even painful.

The signs and symptoms of genital warts include:
  • Small, flesh-colored or gray swellings in your genital area.
  • Several warts close together that takes on a cauliflower-like shape.
  • Itching or discomfort in your genital area.
  • Bleeding with intercourse.

Causes Of Genital Warts
Genital warts are caused by different strains of HPV that cause warts on your hands or other parts of the body that don’t include the genital. A wart can’t spread from someone’s hand to the genitals, and vice versa.

PELVIC INFLAMMATORY DISEASE - Women:  Pus-filled vaginal discharge, plus fever and pain in lower region of abdomen.

Symptoms of Pelvic Inflammatory Disease
Signs and symptoms of pelvic inflammatory disease might include:
  • Pain in your lower abdomen and pelvis
  • Heavy vaginal discharge with an unpleasant odor
  • Abnormal uterine bleeding, especially during or after intercourse, or between menstrual cycles
  • Pain or bleeding during intercourse
  • Fever, sometimes with chills
  • Painful or difficult urination

TRICHONONIASIS -- In women this disease causes itching and pains in vagina, foamy, greenish or yellowish, smelly discharge.  In men it causes clear urethral discharge.

Trichomoniasis symptoms

Trichomoniasis is a common STI caused by a microscopic, one-celled parasite called Trichomonas vaginalis. This organism spreads during sexual intercourse with someone who already has the infection.
The organism usually infects the urinary tract in men, but often causes no symptoms. Trichomoniasis typically infects the vagina in women. When trichomoniasis causes symptoms, they may appear within five to 28 days of exposure and range from mild irritation to severe inflammation.
Signs and symptoms may include:
  • Clear, white, greenish or yellowish vaginal discharge
  • Discharge from the penis
  • Strong vaginal odor
  • Vaginal itching or irritation
  • Itching or irritation inside the penis
  • Pain during sexual intercourse
  • Painful urination

GONORRHEA- Is a sexually transmitted disease (STD) that can infect both men and women. It can cause infections in the genitals, rectum, and throat. It is a very common infection, especially among young people ages 15 to 24 years.

Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted disease (STD). You get it from having sex with someone who is infected with it. Some people call it “the clap.” Gonorrhea usually causes pain and other symptoms in your genital tract, but it can also cause problems in your rectum, throat, eyes, or joints. Both men and women can get it, though men get it more often than women.

Causes of Gonorrhea

This STD comes from a bacterium called Neisseria gonorrhoeae. Even though it’s spread through sex, a man doesn’t have to ejaculate in order to pass it on to his partner.
You can get gonorrhea from any kind of sexual contact, including:
  • Vaginal intercourse
  • Anal intercourse
  • Oral intercourse (both giving and receiving)
As with other germs, you can get the bacterium that causes gonorrhea just from touching an infected area on another person. If you come into contact with the penis, vagina, mouth, or anus of someone carrying this bacterium, you can get gonorrhea.
These germs can’t live for more than a few seconds outside the body, so you can’t get this STD by touching objects like toilet seats or clothes. But women who have gonorrhea can pass the disease on to their baby during a vaginal delivery. Babies born by C-section can’t get it from their mother.

Gonorrhea symptoms

Gonorrhea is a bacterial infection of your genital tract. It can also grow in your mouth, throat, eyes and anus. The first gonorrhea symptoms generally appear within 10 days after exposure. However, some people may be infected for months before signs or symptoms occur.

Pictures of The Clap (Gonorrhea):

Signs and symptoms of gonorrhea may include:
  • Thick, cloudy or bloody discharge from the penis or vagina
  • Pain or burning sensation when urinating
  • Heavy menstrual bleeding or bleeding between periods
  • Painful, swollen testicles
  • Painful bowel movements
  • Anal itching

Other Symptoms Of Gonorrhea:-
* In women, no symptoms may ever appear when they do; there may be vaginal discharge, frequent and painful urination, abnormal menstrual flow, acute inflammation in the pelvic area, and itching all over. Symptoms generally appear 7 to 14 days after sexual contact.

* In men, symptoms are generally present (including difficult and painful urination, a yellow discharge of pus and mucus from the penis) symptoms appear 2-14 days after contact.
* In women this disease causes vaginal itching, frequent and painful urination, and a cloudy vaginal discharge, abnormal uterine bleeding.
* In men; It causes yellowish, pus-filled urethral discharge, very often both sexes (especially in women) there are no symptoms.

Gonorrhea Prevention

Abstaining from sex is the surest way to prevent gonorrhea. But if you can’t, practice safe sex (use a condom during sexual intercourse), and gets regular screenings for sexually transmitted infections (STI).

SYPHILIS- A sore on the genital, sores in the mouth or anus, a rash, patches of flaking tissue, sore throat, fever etc.

Syphilis Symptoms
Syphilis symptoms can be hard to notice, and come and go over time. So the best way to know if you have syphilis is to get tested. Symptoms can vary with primary, secondary & late stages, and they might not always happen in the same order for everyone.

The secondary syphilis rash is sometimes hard to see, and it usually doesn't itch. You may feel sick and have mild flu-like symptoms, like a slight fever, feeling tired, sore throat, swollen glands, headache, and muscle aches. You can also have sores in your mouth, vagina, or anus, and weight or hair loss.

What Causes STDs?

STDs include just about every kind of infection. Bacterial STDs include chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis. Viral STDs include HIV, genital herpes, genital warts (HPV), and hepatitis B. Trichomoniasis is caused by a parasite.

The germs that cause STDs hide in semen, blood, vaginal secretions, and sometimes saliva. Most of the organisms are spread by vaginal, anal, or oral sex, but some, such as those that cause genital herpes and genital warts, may be spread through skin contact. You can get hepatitis B by sharing personal items, such as toothbrushes or razors, with someone who has it.

Learn more about common and possible STD symptoms and how serious they might be.

If you have sex — oral, anal or vaginal intercourse and genital touching — you can get an STD, also called a sexually transmitted infection (STI). Straight or gay, married or single, you're vulnerable to STIs and STI symptoms. Thinking or hoping your partner doesn't have an STI is no protection — you need to know for sure. And although condoms are highly effective for reducing transmission of some STDs, no method is foolproof.

STI symptoms aren't always obvious. If you think you have STI symptoms or have been exposed to an STI, see a doctor. Some STIs are easy to treat and cure; others require more-complicated treatment to manage them.

It's essential to be evaluated, and — if diagnosed with an STI — get treated. It's also essential to inform your partner or partners so that they can be evaluated and treated.

If untreated, STIs can increase your risk of acquiring another STI such as HIV. This happens because an STI can stimulate an immune response in the genital area or cause sores, either of which might raise the risk of HIV transmission. Some untreated STIs can also lead to infertility.

STIs symptoms

STIs often have no signs or symptoms (asymptomatic). Even with no symptoms, however, you can pass the infection to your sex partners. So it's important to use protection, such as a condom, during sex. And visit your doctor regularly for STI screening, so you can identify and treat an infection before you can pass it on.

Some of the following diseases, such as hepatitis, can be transmitted without sexual contact, by coming into contact with an infected person's blood. Others, such as gonorrhea, can only be transmitted through sexual contact

MENSTRUAL PROBLEMS, MEANING, TYPES, CAUSES, SYMPTOMS, NATURAL REMEDIES

Menstrual problems
This practically refer to menstrual disorder which is a physical or emotional problem that interferes with the normal menstrual cycle, causing pain, unusually heavy or light bleeding, delayed menarche, or missed periods.
Types Of Menstrual Problems:

This is known as abnormal flow of blood from the uterus.  There are different menstrual disorder like painful menstruation, heavy flow of menstruation, black flow of menstruation, scanty menstruation flow, irregular menstruation flow, absence of menstruation and bleeding between periods.

Causes:
An irregular or abnormal cycle often indicates the general state of a woman’s health; it is usually the result of nutritional deficiencies, chemicals or stress and hormonal imbalances.

Painful Menstruation:
The pain begins a few hours before or at the onset; and it is generally worst at the very first day. At first, there is a scanty flow, which increases as the pain subsidies.
Causes:
Although the average menstrual cycle last twenty-eight days (28), they may occur as often as every twenty-four days (24) or as in frequently as every thirty-four days (34) after puberty. Most women develop a regular cycle; but for some, they remain irregular. Menstrual bleeding normally last two – four days (2-4), with the average length being five days (5). Wide variations are common at puberty. The first few months after childbirth and as menopause approaches.

Variations are usually the result of a temporary hormonal imbalance, stress, depression, severe or chronic illness, excessive exercise and extreme weight-lost.

Scanty Menstruation:
This refers as insufficient menstrual flows which is inadequate to provide through cleaning.

Causes:
This problem may be caused by stress, depression, hormonal imbalance, chronics or severe illness, too much exercise, extreme weight loss or disorder of the ovaries or uterus.

Lack Of Menstruation:
Symptoms: Absence of menstrual periods for at least 3 months in women who would otherwise be menstruating regularly.

Causes: There are two types of amenorrhea. The primary kind refers to menstruation that has not started by the age of 16. If the condition later stops at any time, longer than 3 months, it is secondary. A late menstrual period that is accompanied by severe abdominal pain should receive immediate medical attention, because it may be dues to an ectopic pregnancy (653; a pregnant that develops outside the uterus, usually in one of the fallopian tubes).

Profuse Menstruation:
Symptoms: Menstrual periods that is heavier than normal. There may be a dragging pain in the lower abdomen. Menstruation may also be irregular.

Causes: Some women have heavier flows than others. However, if the bleeding lasts longer than 7 days, it cannot be controlled by napkins or tampons, or includes large blood clots, it is classed as menorrhagia. General debility is a primary cause. The condition occurs more frequently in women with kidney or liver disease. Marital excess is another cause.

Menstrual Cramps:
Symptoms: Strong cramping sensations during menstruation. A cramping lower abdominal pain that comes in waves, radiating to the lower back and down the legs. Dragging pain in the pelvis.
Causes: This is a severe form of dysmenorrhoea.

MENOPAUSE
Symptoms: Hot flashes, insomnia, disturbances in calcium metabolism, irritability, mental instability, dizziness, backaches, headaches, bladder problems dryness and aging of the skin, shortness of breath and heart palpitations. Some have almost no symptoms at all, other than absence of menses.

Causes: Menopause is the cessation of ovarian function, the stopping of the menstrual cycle and the end of the reproductive years. 1Glandular changes cause this to happen. It is a natural event in a woman’s life; and it usually occurs between 42 and 55. The average age is about 50 and the transition is generally up to 5 years.

Dysmenorrhea is a menstrual problem that induces severe cramps and pain during menstruation. Underlying problems like endometriosis or fibroids are sometimes present, and add to the discomfort. Amenorrhea is a more serious menstrual problem as it is the delayed onset of menstruation in young girls. Sometimes, women who have had regular menstruation suddenly miss their period for two to three months – this is called menorrhea. There could be just one cause for menorrhea or there could be a combination of causes including pregnancy, an imbalance in hormones, or physiological deformities in the reproductive system.

Symptoms of Menstrual Problems:
It is not always easy to separate normal menstruation symptoms from the symptoms of menstrual problems such as ysmenorrheal or menorrhea. Normal menstruation symptoms include digestive problems such as bloating and constipation, headaches and muscle pain, and tenderness in the breasts. PMS (Premenstrual syndrome) is very common and it covers a variety of physical and emotional symptoms that a woman may experience before she has her period. Stress, anxiety, tension, and unhappiness are common PMS symptoms.

On the other hand, the symptoms of menstrual problems generally includes a change in menstrual patterns such as the absence of bleeding, or an unusually light flow, or an unusually heavy flow. Sudden pain or cramps can also be a cause for concern and dizzy or fainting spells require medical attention.

Causes of Menstrual Problems
When there are menstrual problems in the cycle, they can be due to any of a number of causes. There can be no periods, too frequent periods, very painful periods, or periods with unpredictable menstrual bleeding. Any one of a host of conditions can cause menstrual irregularities.
Amenorrhea is not a disease, but a symptom of another condition which is wider in scope and would call for extensive study. It could be the result of eating disorders, physical or psychological stress, hormonal imbalance or tumors. It is important to see your doctor to identify the cause of your amenorrhea, because treatment will depend on the underlying cause.

Remedies for Menstrual Problems:

If your periods do not go as per schedule you may feel a bit vexed.

One of the best home remedies for delayed periods would be to grind radish seeds and consume this powder along with buttermilk on a daily basis. Parsley is another effective herb for menstruation disorders, especially in the case of delayed periods. In fact, the best way to treat menstrual problems is to drink parsley juice on a regular basis. You can add a generous amount of fresh parsley to the carrots juice and have this mixed juice on a daily basis or Use Fruit therapy like: pineapple juice, water melon and stinging nestles with Libracin Herbal Alternatives:

FIBROIDS, MEANING, TYPES, CAUSES, SYMPTOMS, SOLUTIONS

Fibroids

Fibroids are non-cancerous (benign) tumors that grow from the muscle layers of the uterus (womb). They are also known as uterine fibroids, leiomyomas, or myomas.

Fibroids are growths of smooth muscle, and can vary from the size of a bean to as large as a melon.

Fibroids affect at least 20 percent of all women at some point in their life. Women of reproductive age are the most likely to develop them. Also, overweight and obese women have a significantly higher risk of developing fibroids, compared with women of normal weight.

Four types of fibroids.
There are four types of fibroids, characterized by their location in the uterus:

Intramural Fibroids – located in the wall of the uterus, this is the most common type.

Subserosal Fibroids – located outside the all of the uterus but underneath the tissue layer that surrounds the uterus. They can develop into pedunculated fibroids (stalks) and become quite large.

Submucosal Fibroids- located in the muscle beneath the lining of the uterus wall. This type can protrude into the cavity of the uterus.

Cervical fibroids – located in the neck of the womb (the cervix).

Causes:
Caffeine may increase the risk of fibroids. Experts cannot come to a common consensus about why fibroids occur.

During a woman’s reproductive years, estrogen and progesterone levels are high. When estrogen levels are high, especially during pregnancy, fibroids tend to swell. When estrogen levels are low, fibroids may shrink, for example, during a woman’s menopause.

Heredity may also be a factor; women whose close relatives have had fibroids have a higher risk of developing them.

There is also some evidence that red meats, alcohol, and caffeine could increase the risk of fibroids. Also, an increased intake of fruit and vegetables might reduce the risk.

 Symptoms:
Your symptoms will depend on the location and size of the tumor(s) and how many tumors you have. If your tumor is very small, or if you are going through menopause, you may not have any symptoms. Fibroids may shrink during and after menopause.

Symptoms:
Miscarriage, high blood pressure, virginal discharge & pale skin.

Most women have no symptoms, but around 1 in 3 will experience symptoms, which may include:
Anemia (as a result of heavy periods),
Backache, Constipation, Discomfort in the lower abdomen (especially if fibroids are large), Frequent urination, Heavy painful periods, Pain in the legs, Painful sex, Swelling in the lower abdomen (especially if fibroids are large)

Other possible symptoms of uterine fibroids include:
Labor problems, Pregnancy problems, Fertility problems, Repeated miscarriages

Other Symptoms of fibroids may include:
Heavy bleeding between or during your periods that includes blood clots pain in the pelvis and/or lower back increased menstrual cramping increased urination pain during intercourse menstruation that lasts longer than usual pressure or fullness in your lower abdomens welling or enlargement of the abdomen

CLASSIFICATIONS
Fibroids are often described according to their location in the uterus. See below pictures:

OVARIAN INSUFFICIENCY/ ENDOMETRIOSIS (OVARIAN CYSTS) CAUSES, SYMPTOMS, SOLUTIONS

This is regarded as inadequate amount of female sexual hormones being released by ovaries.
Causes:  The ovaries store and release eggs, which pass along the fallopian tubes into the uterus.  But they also produce important female hormones: estrogens and progesterone.  But secretion of these hormones is controlled by the follicle-stimulating hormone and the luteinize hormone which are produced in the pituitary gland in the brain.  Causes of ovarian insufficiency may include poor diet, lack of exercise, accumulation of waste matters in the body, stress, emotional conflict.

ENDOMETRIOSIS (OVARIAN CYSTS)
This is abnormal tissue cells which appear to be like those in the endometrium.

Symptoms:
Abdominal pain, back pain, pelvic pain, constipation, bladder problems, bleeding between periods, very painful menstrual cramps, and the passing of large clots and solved of tissue during the menses.  In 30% of the cases, there are no symptoms.  Iron anaemia commonly occurs.

Causes:
Tissue cells which appear to be like those in the endomertrian (the liming of the uterus), are able to grow elsewhere in the abdominal cavity; the ligaments ovary, bladder, rectum, bowel, appendix, etc.  They rarely occur outside the pelvic area.  These tissue implants, where-ever they settle in the body will be affected by estrogens and will bleed during the monthly period.
It always occurs between the ages of 30 – 40 years of age.  A frequent result of endometriosis is the inability to become pregnant.

Natural Remedies:
The diet must be improved, a simple nourishing diet of fruits, vegetables, whole grains plus Libracin herbal alternatives like: Neem tea,

LIVER/KIDNEY PROBLEM, MEANING, CAUSES, SYMPTOMS, and SOLUTIONS

LIVER

Liver disease is any disturbance of liver function that causes illness. The liver is responsible for many critical functions within the body and should it become diseased or injured, the loss of those functions can cause significant damage to the body. Liver disease is also referred to as hepatic disease.

Kidneys

Kidneys are the organs that filter waste products from the blood. They are also involved in regulating blood pressure, electrolyte balance, and red blood cell production in the body.

Kidney failure facts:

  • Symptoms of kidney failure are due to the build-up of waste products and excess fluid in the body that may cause weakness, shortness of breath, lethargy, swelling, and confusion. Inability to remove potassium from the bloodstream may lead to abnormal heart rhythms and sudden death. Initially kidney failure may cause no symptoms.
  • There are numerous causes of kidney failure, and treatment of the underlying disease may be the first step in correcting the kidney abnormality.
  • Some causes of kidney failure are treatable and the kidney function may return to normal. Unfortunately, kidney failure may be progressive in other situations and may be irreversible.
  • The diagnosis of kidney failure usually is made by blood tests measuring BUN, creatinine, and glomerular filtration rate (GFR).
  • Treatment of the underlying cause of kidney failure may return kidney function to normal. Lifelong efforts to control blood pressure and diabetes may be the best way to prevent chronic kidney disease and its progression to kidney failure. As we age kidney function gradually decreases over time.
  • If the kidneys fail completely, the only treatment options available may be dialysis or transplant.

KIDNEYS & LIVER PROBLEM

The kidneys and liver serve vital functions for overall wellness of the body.
The kidneys remove waste from the body to prevent toxicity of other organs and maintain health of the entire body.
The liver is the largest internal organ and aids in fighting infections, digestion and regulating blood sugar levels.

In the case of disease of the kidneys or the liver, subtle symptoms indicate early malfunctions in these vital organs. As kidney and liver disease progresses, symptoms become more prominent and debilitating. The Medical Education Institute suggests recognizing the symptoms of disease in order to get the appropriate intervention for curbing discomfort.

Symptoms:

>Urine and Bowel Changes
Liver damage can take different forms such as hepatitis, cirrhosis, or cancer, according to the American Liver Foundation. Regardless of the type of liver disease, the progression of symptoms and stages remain similar.
Consistently dark-colored urine or light colored bowel movements, stool also may appear bloody or black in the presence of disease.
Regarding the kidneys, changes in urination also occurs because the kidneys are responsible for making urine. Foamy, bubbly and frequent urination commonly occur in kidney disease.
On the other hand, less urination and dark- colored urine may appear. In extreme cases of kidney disease, a condition known as anuria, urine production stopping altogether, occurs.

>Inflammation and Swelling
Early stage liver disease causes inflammation, the American Liver Foundation notes. Tenderness in the area of the liver and enlargement of the liver are associated with the liver trying to fight infections. Discomfort may not occur during early liver disease. With time, this changes if the early symptoms are not treated. Swelling of tissues in the body, also referred to as edema, transpires in kidney disease. When the kidneys no longer maintain normal filtration of excess body water, swelling of the extremities, legs and face appear.

>Fatigue, Weakness and Nausea
In both instances of disease, fatigue, weakness and nausea presents. According to the Medical Education Institute, this is associated with reduced red blood cells carrying oxygen to the muscles and brain during kidney failure. In the case of liver failure, the body overworks to compensate for damage to the organ. Fatigue, weakness and nausea become more frequent as the disease stages progress. An overall sense of despair causing decreased appetite, disorientation and tiredness may also result as symptoms of kidney and liver disease.

What are the causes of liver disease (drug-induced liver disease)?

>Chronic Infection,

>Alcohol Abuse,

>Some forms of liver diseases that are inherited,

>Diabetes,

>Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease,

>Cirrhosis,

>Obesity etc.

Drug-induced liver disease
Liver cells may become temporarily inflamed or permanently damaged by exposure to medications or drugs. Some medications or drugs require an overdose to cause liver injury while others may cause the damage even when taken in the appropriately prescribed dosage.
Taking excess amounts of acetaminophen (Tylenol, Panadol) can cause liver failure. This is the reason that warning labels exist on many over-the-counter medications that contain acetaminophen and why prescription narcotic-acetaminophen combination medications (for example, Vicodin, Lortab, Norco, Tylenol #3) limit the numbers of tablets to be taken in a day. For patients with underlying liver disease or those who abuse alcohol, that daily limit is lower and acetaminophen may be contra-indicated in those individuals.
Statins are drugs commonly prescribed to control elevated blood levels of cholesterol. Even when taken in the appropriately prescribed dose, liver inflammation may occur. This inflammation can be detected by blood tests that measure liver enzymes. Stopping the medication usually results in return of the liver function to normal.

Niacin is another medication used to control elevated blood levels of cholesterol, but liver inflammation with this medication is related to the dose taken. Similarly, patients with underlying liver disease may be at higher risk of developing liver disease due to medications such as niacin. Recent studies have found that niacin may not be as effective as previously thought in controlling high cholesterol. Patients who take niacin may want to see their health care professional to determine if other treatment options may be appropriate.

There are numerous other medications that may cause liver inflammation, most of which will resolve when the medication is stopped. These include antibiotics such as nitrofurantoin (Macrodantin, Furadantin, Macrobid), amoxicillin and clavulanic acid (Augmentin, Augmentin XR), tetracycline (Sumycin), and isoniazid (INH, Nydrazid, Laniazid). Methotrexate (Rheumatrex, Trexall), a drug used to treat autoimmune disorders and cancers, has a variety of side effects including liver inflammation that can lead to cirrhosis. Disulfiram (Antabuse) is used to treat alcoholics and can cause liver inflammation.

Some herbal remedies and excessive amounts of vitamins can cause hepatitis, cirrhosis and liver failure. Examples include vitamin A, kava kava, ma-huang, and comfrey.

Many mushrooms are poisonous to the liver and eating unidentified mushrooms gathered in the wild can be lethal.

Causes of Kidneys disease

Less common causes of chronic renal failure include:

  • Polycystic kidney disease.
  • Reflux nephropathy (damage caused by urine backflow from the bladder into the ureters and kidney)
  • Nephrotic syndrome.
  • Alport’s disease.
  • Interstitial nephritis.
  • Kidney stones.
  • Prostate disease.
Natural Remedies:

Water
Water is ext to air, is the second most vital ingredient in our body. Water makes up two thirds of the human body; it regulates the temperature of the body, carries oxygen and nutrients to the cells and promotes proper body functions. Water helps in the removal of waste products from the colon, the skin, kidneys and liver as well as the lungs. Daily adequate fluid intake including water promotes flushing and cleansing of the liver and kidneys and promotes their functions.

Cranberry
Traditionally, cranberry fruits and leaves were used to treat various ailments including urinary tract conditions and liver problems. STRESS AND ANXIETY, MEANING, CAUSES, SYMPTOMS, SOLUTIONS

Stress and Anxiety:

Most people experience stress and anxiety from time to time. Stress is any demand placed on your brain or physical body. People can report feeling stressed when multiple competing demands are placed on them. The feeling of being stressed can be triggered by an event that makes you feel frustrated or nervous. Anxiety is a feeling of fear, worry, or unease. It can be a reaction to stress, or it can occur in people who are unable to identify significant stressors in their life.
Stress and anxiety are not always bad. In the short term, they can help you overcome a challenge or dangerous situation. Examples of everyday stress and anxiety include worrying about finding a job, feeling nervous before a big test, or being embarrassed in certain social situations. If we did not experience some anxiety we might not be motivated to do things that we need to do (for instance, studying for that big test!).
However, if stress and anxiety begin interfering with your daily life, it may indicate a more serious issue. If you are avoiding situations due to irrational fears, constantly worrying, or experiencing severe anxiety about a traumatic event weeks after it happened, it may be time to seek help.

SYMPTOMS:

Stress and anxiety can produce both physical and psychological symptoms. People experience stress and anxiety differently. Common physical symptoms include:
  • stomachache
  • muscle tension
  • headache
  • rapid breathing
  • fast heartbeat
  • sweating
  • shaking
  • dizziness
  • frequent urination
  • change in appetite
  • trouble sleeping
  • diarrhea
  • fatigue
Stress and anxiety can cause mental or emotional symptoms in addition to physical ones. These can include:
  • feelings of impending doom
  • panic or nervousness, especially in social settings
  • difficulty concentrating
  • irrational anger
  • restlessness
People who have stress and anxiety over long periods of time may experience negative related health outcomes. They are more likely to develop heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and may even develop depression and panic disorder.

CAUSES
For most people, stress and anxiety come and go. They usually occur after particular life events, but then go away.
